Following a stint in the Air Force, Montana native Zane Sullivan graduated from Montana State University in 1966 with a degree in Psychology and in 1972 from the University Of Montana School Of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree. He interned for a local law office and owned several title insurance companies
Before opening his own law practice in Missoula.
Mr. Sullivan has lectured to selected audiences at The University of Montana School of Law, the Montana Bar Association and the Montana Land Title Association. Mr. Sullivan served as a member of the
Editorial Committee for the Montana Bar Association Manual on Real Estate, and has appeared as an
expert witness in a number of litigated cases. In addition to the Montana Courts, Mr. Sullivan is admitted
to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Sullivan also speaks to and trains 5,000+/- realtors each year in his role as a designated instructor for
the National Association of REALTORS7, the Montana Association of REALTORS7 and the Graduate
REALTOR7 program.
When he’s not in court, at the office or one of his many speaking engagements, Zane has many interests.
He has his pilot’s license and sat on the Missoula County Airport Board for 18 years. Zane has shown
Border Collies and Golden Retriever dogs from Miami to Alaska, and still has two Border Collies at home. As an American Kennel Club representative, Zane judged the Missoula 4-H show in 2009.
